Parent Association
The role of the Parents Association is to support the school through the organization of events and activities at different times of the year. Representatives and officers are elected at the Parent / Teacher Meetings held in September. Some important events organized by the Parents Association are the Halloween Party in October and the Posada in December.
This year the IAS Athletic Boosters has been formed for parents interested in promoting sports. Parents interested in working with this group should contact the office for more information.

2009-2010 School Year
The IAS PTA would like to thank all parents and students for their participation at all the events organized during this school year. We accomplished our goal of promoting family unity and strengthening the relationship between the upper and lower schools, IAS and CES. Also, as part of our plans, we were able to collect money through our different events: Halloween, Holiday Celebration and PTA registration fee. These funds will be used at school in different ways.
The total amount collected was $27,516.00 M.N.
These funds were used for the following:
- $16,405.80 - Radio (school communication system)
- 8,998.00 - 2 ping pong tables
- 1,162.20 - Sports material
- 950.00 - IAS World Cup banner
We hope that next year there will be even more community participation; remember that the more we are involved in our children`s activities, the stronger our family will be.
To all the room mothers and the school administration, thank you, for without your support, we would not have been able to reach our goals.

Año Escolar 2009-2010
La sociedad de padres de familia agradece a todos los alumnos y padres de familia por su participación en todos los eventos organizados, ya que con ello se logró nuestro objetivo fundamental que es la convivencia familiar y la unidad de la comunidad escolar conformada por IAS y CES. Al mismo tiempo también tuvimos la fortuna de recaudar fondos los cuales, nos permiten apoyar al colegio y sobre todo a los alumnos en sus diferentes actividades.
El monto total recaudado en nuestros eventos: Halloween, Festival Decembrino, y aportación de cuotas fue de $27,516.00 M.N.
Estos fondos se utilizaron de la siguiente manera:
- $16,405.80 - Equipo para la radio escolar
- 8,998.00 - 2 mesas de ping pong
- 1,162.20 - Material para deporte (balones)
- 950.00 - Manta para promoción del IAS Mundialito
Esperámos que el próximo ciclo escolar tengamos una mayor participación de la comunidad escolar y padres de familia y nos involucremos más en las actividades de nuestros hijos,lo cual nos permite mayor unión familiar.
También quiero agradecer de todo corazón el trabajo realizado por todas las vocales y el apoyo de los directivos escolares ya que gracias a eso pudimos lograr nuestro objetivo.
