The School Community
The student body reflects the international flavor of Cancun, with students from Canada, Great Britain, Mexico, the United States, and other nations. However, the junior high and high school has a larger number of foreign students due to its dual Mexican and American-style programs.
Students and families are attracted to the school primarily by the bilingual and bicultural program offered. The school is known for its small class sizes and qualified, experienced teachers. At the present time the staff consists of teachers from Mexico, the United States, Canada, and England.
The school recognizes the important role that parents play in education and seeks to form a partnership between home and school. Parents are invited and encouraged to participate in a variety of ways. Parent seminars and activities are organized, which are designed to help parents become more familiar with the school’s programs and to improve communication between school and home.
Primary parents attend classroom presentations at least four times a year, and parents at all grade levels attend holiday festivals and closing programs. Parents are encouraged to get involved by serving with the parent organizations that function at all three levels - Kinder, Primary and Secondary.
