School Trips

Supporting our commitment to the development of the whole child, the school organizes a variety of activities that encourage learning inside and outside the classroom. Field trips are part of the learning experience.

In the past excursions have been taken to local places as CrocoCun (crocodile farm), parks such as Xcaret and Tres Rios, museums, Isla Mujeres, and plays given by theater groups. Different classes have also visited a physics lab, local restaurants and universities, and various businesses.

Trips are also taken to different destinations outside the state of Quintana Roo. Past excursions have taken students to Dzibichaltùn to see the spring Equinox, to Campeche and Chiapas, and to various ruins in the Yucatan Peninsula. Model UN students have participated in conferences in Mexico City and Monterrey, as well as international conferences in Paris, New York, and Stanford.
